HVIEZDOSLAVOV: In the village of Hviezdoslavov (Dunajská Streda district), one case of viral hepatitis type A was recorded. The village informed about this on its website, along with a call to residents to be extra cautious and strictly observe basic hygiene principles.

As TASR was told by the head of the epidemiology department of the Regional Office of Public Health, located in Dunajská Streda, Magdaléna Zelenická Tóth, one disease was reported in the territory of the office on Friday, July 17.

“All persons who were in contact with the patient were ordered to undergo medical supervision consisting of health monitoring and the administration of a vaccine against viral hepatitis type A,” she underlined. At the same time, according to her, these persons were instructed on the observance of stricter preventive measures, especially on the strict observance of personal hygiene and environmental hygiene.
