“Democratic Bulgaria” remains the pro-democratic, pro-European and pro-reform opposition in the parliament. This was stated by the deputy from “Democratic Bulgaria” Elisaveta Belobradova in “Panorama” on BNT. At the beginning of the conversation, she supported the views of the Minister of Education Prof. Georgi Valchev and emphasized the importance of the active participation of parents in school life.

Regarding the political situation, Belobradova was categorical that Democratic Bulgaria is the real opposition in the country. “Democratic Bulgaria” is the real opposition. If we look at the other segments – colleagues from GERB perform complex gymnastic exercises – a quiet support for “Progressive Bulgaria”, at the same time they complain that their security has been taken away; “Revival” made such a loop from the extreme right to the extreme left that they are still in a dazed state. With DPS, there was never a political position, they always had positions regarding addictions. We are the opposition. Our face is so clear and traceable – we are the pro-democracy, pro-European and pro-reform opposition,” said Belobradova.
According to her, the rulers are trying to limit the role of the parliament through changes that affect parliamentary control and the work of temporary committees. “At the moment, the rulers are trying to limit the activities of the parliament and replace its main function. They are trying to limit parliamentary control, temporary committees, highlighting corruption and problems, and most of all – ending the debate. The parliament is a place for debate and freedom. All attempts to limit parliamentary democracy will not happen,” said Belobradova.
