Even before the actual start of summer, the Black Sea enters seasonal mode. The long weekend period between May 1 and 6 is once again emerging as the first strong time for travel, with hotels opening early setting the tone for the season.

In international chains such as Barceló, this model has been developed to the highest level, with clearly structured service and consistency in quality. At the beginning of May, interior spaces are also more important. The complex has the largest SPA center in Sunny Beach, including a heated indoor pool, jacuzzi and relaxation areas, an additional factor that allows the stay to be full regardless of the weather. The outdoor areas also begin to be used as early as the first days of May in warmer weather, which further brings the feeling to the active summer season. The early opening this year is not an exception, but a trend in which the season along the Black Sea is gradually shifting and increasingly often begins with the first long weekends in May.
