Two horses were saved from the incoming water of the Beli Vit river in Teteven, and specialized equipment was used for this purpose. The animals were apparently left to “graze” in the river bed and their owner(s) did not come to retrieve them when the water level began to rise rapidly.

The Ministry of Health with important instructions to the people of the flooded areas
“I have no words to express my outrage at what is happening right now. Horses are left in the very bed of the incoming river and are already half submerged in water. If the rain doesn’t stop, the water will carry them away. Where are the authorities that should immediately respond to such disaster situations?!” – video footage of the horses in danger circulated on social media and this helped create a reaction.
Meanwhile, in Dryanovo, the situation is also dire – many places are flooded. “The most useful thing at the moment would be to have more pumps to drain the residential buildings. There are people, if there are more pumps, it will be possible to work in several houses at the same time. Write or call 0884 888 796. Thank you!”, writes on his Facebook profile one of the volunteers helping – Nikolay Karagyozov.
