CFL: Connection to Arlon restricted in July

Due to construction work, the train connection between Luxembourg and Arlon is temporarily interrupted.

The summer brings with it extensive construction work on Luxembourg’s rail network. In this context, the train service between Luxembourg and Arlon will be interrupted on the weekend of July 11 to 12, as the CFL announced in a press release on July 1. As a substitute, two bus lines are available:

  • The line L50 connects Luxembourg (Busbahnhof) with Kleinbettingen. The buses serve all train stops along the route and run every 30 minutes.
  • The direct connection L52 also runs every 30 minutes between Luxembourg (bus station) and Arlon.

Due to construction work, adjusted timetables also apply on the Luxembourg-Kleinbettingen-Arlon route from July 13 to 20. From July 20 to August 9, 2026 inclusive, fewer trains will run on the route.
