Einstürzende Neubauten: sound experiments in the amphitheater

Einstürzende new buildings excite at the Wiltz Festival with innovative sound experiments. In the amphitheater, after 46 years, Blixa Bargeld and band show how they create new sound worlds with unusual instruments such as drills and steel springs.

Die Einstürzenden Neubauten remain true to themselves after 46 years of band existence by constantly evolving and always exploring new possibilities to create new tones and sounds for their albums and concerts. From drills to shopping carts to plastic pipes and steel springs, their range of instruments is extensive.

So also on Thursday evening at the festival in Wiltz, where the band led by singer Blixa Bargeld in the amphitheater enthralled die-hard fans just as much as those who are yet to become fans. In addition to the band founders Bargeld and NU Unruh as well as the long-time band members Jochen Arbeit and Rudolph Moser as well as the tour keyboardist Felix Gebhard, the new bassist Josefine Lukschy was also present. The audience was enthusiastic about the nearly two-hour concert.
